Stock Photo: Magnolia campbellii 'Charles Raffill' Image ID CFGf695

Magnolia campbellii 'Charles Raffill' (M. c. ssp. campbellii × M. c. ssp. mollicomata), a very impressive early-flowering cultivar of a deciduous tree found in the Himalayan region from eastern Nepal to western Yunnan, China. It has large, pale pink flowers opening from pink buds and unlike the species, the underside of the petals (tepals) remains a deeper pink.
