Stock Photo: Eucalyptus cladocalyx Image ID CFGf414

Sugar Gum (Eucalyptus cladocalyx), an evergreen tree up to 35m tall with a very restricted natural distribution in coastal southeastern South Australia. It is notable for its pale, flaking bark and is appears to be quite distinct among the eucalypts, with no obviously closely related species. The flowers are creamy white and because the crown of the tree is high they are not especially showy.
