Picture: Cootamundra Wattle (Acacia baileyana), a bushy 5–8m tall tree native to south-eastern Australia. One of the most widely cultivated wattles, its flowers open from mid-winter and last well into spring. The ferny, silver-grey foliage is very distinctive.
