Stock Photo: Alternanthera bettzickiana 'Aurea Nana' Image ID CFGf105

Dwarf Calico Plant, Joyweed or Baptist Plant (Alternanthera bettzickiana 'Aurea Nana'), a compact cultivar of a 1m tall annual or short-lived perennial native to the American tropics and subtropics. Its young foliage is pale yellow with pink veining and matures to light green. It is most often cultivated as a foliage house plant or for summer bedding colour in semi-shade; the short spikes of tiny flowers are not really a feature.
