Picture: The developing flowers of a male River She-oak or River Oak (Casuarina cunninghamiana), an evergreen, 20–35m tall, evergreen tree native to northern, eastern and southern Australia. Including Tasmania, extending from the coast to around 150km inland. It is regarded as the tallest of the casuarinas. Note: this species remains in Casuarina and has not been transferred to Allocasuarina.
