Picture: Corokia cotoneaster, an evergreen, wiry-stemmed shrub native to New Zealand. Small yellow flowers are followed by orange-red berries. In very exposed positions it forms a dense mound of interlaced branches. The form from Cass in Canterbury is unusual in that it appears to have mature fruit in both golden yellow and red tones.
