Picture: A 1939 Imperial TWB tractor in unrestored condition. This Australian-made 40hp tractor had a distinctively laid out single-cylinder diesel motor. It was made by the AH MacDonald Imperial Engine Works, which produced Australia's first tractor in 1908. Never a high-volume manufacturer, the company finally disappeared in a merger in 1969.
