Magnolia × brooklynensis, a Magnolia acuminata × Magnolia liliiflora hybrid, the best forms of which, such as 'Yellow Bird', have been released as 'yellow-flowered magnolias', which can be rather optimistic as the colour often tends more to cream. This deciduous plant eventually develops into a small to medium-sized tree.
