Magnolia campbellii 'Charles Raffill' (M. c. ssp. campbellii × M. c. ssp. mollicomata), a very impressive early-flowering cultivar with large, pale pink flowers opening from pink buds. The underside of the petals (tepals) remains a deeper pink.
