Currajong or Tasmanian Hemp Bush (Asterotrichion discolor), an evergreen summer-flowering shrub or small tree to 5m tall, native to Tasmania. A member of the mallow family (Malvaceae), its stems and the underside of the leaves are densely covered with white to buff hairs. The fibrous inner bark has been used to make string or rope.
