Stock Photo: Coopworth Image ID CFGc135

Developed at Lincoln College, New Zealand in the 1950s and 60s, the Coopworth is a Border Leicester/Romney cross that is very popular for its meat and its coarse wool which is used for carpets and heavy clothing. It is also known as the Border Romney, though strictly this term should be used for F1 crosses only.
