Stock Photo: Eucalyptus mannifera Image ID CFGb955

Brittle Gum or Mottled Gum (Eucalyptus mannifera), a 20m tall evergreen tree native to southeastern Australia. It produces sprays of small white flowers but it is mainly cultivated for its attractive white trunks. Its bark peels very quickly from the young stems, meaning that the bulk of tree shows the white under-bark, often with buff, pink or pale green patches.
