Rhododendron glischrum, an open, often rather leggy 1-3.5m high shrub found in Yunnan, China and nearby parts of Burma and Tibet at around 4500m altitude. The flowers are an unusual deep red shade with a dusty grey-blue bloom. Some forms have much larger leaves.
