Silver Dollar Gum or Red Box (Eucalyptus polyanthemos), a many-branched, often rather straggly tree with small cream flowers and persistent, fibrous, grey-brown bark. It is found in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia, grows to around 25m tall and is widely cultivated for the foliage of juvenile plants, which is rounded and encircles the branches. Mature trees have lance-shaped leaves with normal petioles.
